Principal’s Message on the 60th School Anniversary
Ma On Shan Tsung Tsin Secondary School (MOSTTSS) originated from Tsung Tsin College (Shau Kei Wan), which was established in 1958, a cycle of sixty years ago. At the time Tsung Tsin College (Sau Kei Wan) was founded, there was a lack of many resources. Thanks to the support of our school supervisors, principals and teachers, our students were still taught in a loving learning environment. One invaluable act of dedication was that some teachers offered personal financial support to needy students. The world is now changing yet the love and the sense of belonging to our school hasn’t changed. The strong bond between Mosttees and the school has been maintained. Whenever the school needs their support and help, it is always around. 2018 was our 60th anniversary. We organized various activities and built Our Precious Memory Gallery, which shows our history from TTC(SKW) to MOSTTSS in the hope that every alumnus, student and parent can feel the strength of the past and ongoing passion of Tsung Tsin.
The main theme of our 60th anniversary was Inherit the Mission, Strive for Excellence. I hope that Mosttees can inherit the mission from TTC(SKW), to cultivate our students in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetic sense and spiritual excellence so that they can be respectable, intellectual, vigorous, reflective and dedicated people with positive and righteous value towards life. Through the faith and perseverance from Christ, they can be the light and salt to the world.
During the last sixty years, our school has inherited many valuable traditions and experience. In successive education reforms, we have embraced challenges with a positive attitude and our teaching team has implemented countless education programmes to enrich our students’ knowledge and widen their horizons.
In the future, we hope that MOSTTSS will continue to make stable progress in different areas. Through various teaching strategies, we can well-equip our students and guide them to know God, to be His people and to serve our community.
