Learning is not confined to the classroom; traveling and conducting on-site investigations can greatly broaden students' horizons. Our students have truly "left footprints all over the world," including places like Oxford in the UK, Melbourne and Perth in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, Germany, and Russia. Our school also places great importance on students' understanding of their homeland, with visits to Chengdu, Beijing, Chongqing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Luoyang, and Shandong. After returning to Hong Kong, students even publish collections of writings and photo albums to share their learning experiences.
The curriculum of our study tours encompasses not only English but also astronomy, science, geography, history, and visual arts. For example, students have opportunities to participate in science competitions in Russia, explore the evolution of Chinese culture in Japan or Korea, and examine local cultural creativity and artistic developments in Taiwan. These interdisciplinary learning opportunities, combined with various enrichment activities, undoubtedly allow students to broaden their perspectives, making for a truly valuable experience.
