The aims of the Economics curriculum are to enable students to:

1. Develop an interest in exploring human behaviour and social issues through an economic perspective;
2. Understand the world in which they live through mastery of basic economic knowledge;
3. Enhance their general intellectual capacity for life-long learning, through developing their capacities in economic analysis, so that they possess the skills necessary for reasoning about issues and making rational choices; and

Senior Curriculum

MOSTT students taking Geography in their senior years will be studying a compulsory syllabus which includes Living with Our Physical Environment, Facing Changes in the Human Environment and Confronting Global Challenges. The electives available for students are Dynamic Earth and Weather and Climate.

Fieldwork-based study will also be covered in the learning and teaching of both the compulsory and elective parts.

The objectives of the curriculum are to develop students' understanding and skills in the following areas:

• Recognize how natural environments impact human activities and how human activities can alter natural environments.
• Describe the key characteristics of different places and environments and explain how these characteristics are shaped by interactions between physical and human processes.
• Understand how interactions between physical and human processes create geographic patterns at various scales and lead to changes in places and environments over time.

• Critically evaluate the concept of regional identity.
• Comprehend the concept of sustainable development.
• Recognize the influence of perceptions, values, and attitudes in decision-making regarding places and environments, and explain the resulting changes.
• Understand how conflicting demands on the environment can arise and evaluate different strategies for environmental management.
• Appreciate the increasing global interdependency and its impact on their lives, their nation, and the environment.
• Identify geographical questions and issues and develop logical inquiry-based approaches to explore them.
• Apply appropriate geographical and general skills to investigate and present geographical questions and issues, analyze findings, and draw evidence-based conclusions.

課程架構

初中級旨在使學生能夠：

本校初中(中一至中三級)中國歷史科課程乃按照課程發展議會的課程指引編訂，涵蓋由史前至中華人民共和國時期的的政治演變，輔以文化特色及香港發展。

高中(中四至中六)課程方面，分為: 必修部分（「歷代發展」）甲部：上古至十九世紀中葉以及乙部：「十九世紀中葉至二十世紀末」兩大時段。
至於「選修部分」(歷史專題)，包括「二十世紀中國傳統文化的發展：承傳與 轉 變」、「 地域 與資 源 運用 」、「時代與知識分子」、「制度與政治演 變」、「宗教傳播與文化交流」和「女性社會地位：傳統與變遷」六個單元，本校選取「時代與知識分子」。
